Brookings Flying Club General Meeting

Brookings Airport, Brookings, OR

July 8, 2020

Call to order: President Nelson Sprague called the meeting to order at 6:31 pm via telephone

 

Reading of Minutes: No Meeting in June and No minutes        

 

Officer Reports:

 

1. VP Comments.  
   1. None noted
2. Fuel Farm Manager 
   1. Alan Nidiffer reported the fuel farm is in good working order.  
   2. Fuel filters are nearing replacement in August
   3. Retail price change approved for 100LL 5.08/4.83
3. Airplane Maintenance.  
   1. Explanation for carburetor failure on club airplane
   2. Carb repair and oil change happening soon
4. Treasurer & Scholarship Committee Leader
   1. No report

 

Old Business:

1. Hangar floor prep needs a schedule.  Nelson will coordinate

 

New Business:

1. Looking for sanitation supplies. Clorox wipes and office chairs.
2. Student Pilot ground program is on hold due to COVID
3. City of Brookings plans to continue work to bring water service to the North hangars
