Brookings Flying Club General Meeting

Brookings Airport, Brookings, OR

June 12th, 2024

 

Call to order: Meeting to order at 6:30 PM. 

 

Reading of Minutes: May 2024 minutes read and accepted.

 

    1. Fuel Farm Manager 
      1. Received two load of fuel
    2. Airplane Maintenance.  
      1. 100 hour inspection coming up
    3. Treasurer Report
      1. Account balances reported
      2. Several Large expenses in the last 30 days
        1. Fuel
        2. Airport day expenses
        3. insurance
  • Youth Committee and Scholarship
    1. No report

Old Business:

  1. Airport day recap 

New Business:

  1. Upgrade or replace tug
  2. Purchase sound system?

Important Airport Day Update
Airport Day 2025 Cancelled
Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, the Brookings Flying club has make the difficult decision to cancel our flagship public outreach event, Airport Day, for the 2025 season.

We are saddened that we will not get to see all of you this year, and that our youth programs and scholarship funds will not receive their usual fundraising for the year. We hope to have our event back up and running for 2026.
