Brookings Flying Club General Meeting

Call to order: Kyle Rice called the meeting to order at 6:32 PM. 

 

Reading of Minutes: The April 2023 minutes were read and stand as read.

 

1. 1. Fuel Farm Manager 
      1. 100LL Fuel load recently received
      2. Jet A to be ordered this week
      3. The Hand pump is intermittently working on the 100LL tank
   2. Airplane Maintenance.  
      1. Aircraft in good order
      2. Landing light intermittent
   3. Treasurer Report
      1. Account balances were reported.
      2. New staff at Musser/Olsen on our account, Lynette
      3. Good cash position for recent fuel purchases

• Youth Committee and Scholarship

1. 1. Possibility of a day camp with the middle school discussed.

Old Business:

1. Alaska Air aviation day in Portland upcoming, club will cover the costs of plane to fly up
2. Unicom radio inop, Discussion on not having a radio vs replacement
3. Hangar doors in need of more repair

New Business:

1. Airport day planning
   1. Details discussed on upcoming event
